Vegan Naan Bread & Coconut Raita

Simply follow our two easy recipes for the perfect vegan naan bread and coconut yoghurt raita below! 🤗🌱 Vegan Naan Bread:

3/4 cup warm water
1 1/4 tsp active yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1/4 cup coconut yoghurt (Our favourite is Raglan Coconut Yoghurt)
2 Tbsp olive oil

1. Mix the warm water, salt, sugar and active yeast together and leave until yeast has foamed (around 7 minutes). 2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until dough like.

3. Knead for about 20 seconds until the dough has formed a ball.

4. Place into a bowl and cover with glad wrap or a tea towel, leave in a warm place for around 60 minutes or until dough has doubled in size.

5. Once dough has doubled in size, cut into 8 pieces and use a rolling pin to form naan!

6. Heat fry pan and a little oil or plant butter and fry on each side for 20 -30 seconds until the dough bubbles.

Coconut Yoghurt Raita:

1 cup coconut yoghurt
1/4 cucumber peeled & diced
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chilli
1 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tbsp lemon juice

Simply mix all ingredients together in a bowl!
