OUR HEAT & EAT INSTRUCTIONS

Please store your ready-to-eat meals in the freezer as soon as you receive them. Our meals are all ready to eat, they just need heated. Please follow the instructions set out below to have the perfect heat and eat meal.ALL APPLIANCES ARE DIFFERENT SO PLEASE USE THESE AS GUIDELINES ONLY. ONCE COOKED, ENSURE FOOD IS PIPING HOT ALL THE WAY THROUGH.ALL APPLIANCES VARY, SO PLEASE TREAT THESE AS GUIDELINES.

 

WHEN SHOULD YOU EAT YOUR FOOD BY?

All our meals can be kept in the freezer for a long time and we recommended eating them within 4 weeks from receiving them. Our meals can be kept in the refrigerator for up 5 days after receiving them.PLEASE REMOVE SAUCE CONTAINERS BEFORE HEATING. 

 

DEFROSTING FROZEN MEALS

Simply take the meals out you want the day before you want to eat them. For instructions see below.

MICROWAVING MEALS (from frozen)

  • Remove any sauce containers before heating.
  • Pierce the plastic film, place into the microwave and press start.
  • Heat between 7 and 12 minutes.
  • Check your meal is hot throughout.
  • Leave to stand for 1 min before fully removing film, stirring and serving

OVEN (from frozen)

  • Remove any sauce containers before heating.
  • Pre-heat the oven anywhere between 200ºC and 220ºC on fan for 10 minutes.
  • Pierce the heat-proof film.
  • Place on a tray and cook for 25-30 or 40-45 mins.
  • Leave to stand for 1 min and then remove film. Make sure it's scorching hot throughout.

 

HEATING FROM DEFROSTED

If microwaving, you can pierce the plastic film and heat for around 2 - 3 minutes (depending on the microwave strength)

 

If heating in the oven, remove the plastic film and heat for around 10 minutes between 180ºC and 220ºCUse common sense where needed.
